Join Gainwell Technologies as a Senior Professional Configuration Manager, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the secure, scalable cloud and on-premise environments powering our public health services and solutions. You will apply your deep technical expertise to ensure the reliability and performance of systems relied upon by millions.
What You'll Do
- Administer, configure, and support AWS environments to ensure high availability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Provide advanced Linux system administration, including performance tuning, diagnostics, and support for clustered environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and/or Podman.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines to improve system reliability and deployment consistency.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution using tools like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Linux utilities.
- Administer and support Git and GitLab repositories, including version control and pipeline integration.
- Provide administration, support, and troubleshooting for WebLogic environments.
- Support multiple production and non-production environments to ensure system stability and continuity of service.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, and/or Go.
- Create, maintain, and refine technical system documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new software implementations and system enhancements.
- Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations.
What We're Looking For
- Six (6) or more years of experience in AWS administration.
- Strong Linux system administration experience, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman) and automation tools like Ansible.
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, including Git and GitLab administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go, with experience supporting enterprise production environments.
- Intermediate understanding of networking concepts and firewall rules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as a team player.
- Ability to learn, support, and configure new technologies and software platforms.
Nice to Have
- AWS SysOps Administrator and advanced specialty certifications.
- Red Hat certification.
