Shape the future of product security through automation
As a Senior Product Security Engineer - Automation, you'll play a key role in advancing security practices across a broad open source software portfolio. You'll design, build, and maintain automated systems that strengthen how security is integrated into development workflows and product lifecycles.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automation solutions that support critical security processes, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability
- Enhance and extend scanning infrastructure—including static and dynamic analysis tools—to support new languages, products, and evolving threat models
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines to deliver timely feedback and catch risks early in development
- Collaborate with security and product teams to identify needs and deliver scalable, maintainable tooling
- Guide technical direction by sharing expertise in automation frameworks, secure design, and tooling best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve security coverage and efficiency through proactive automation
- Engage with upstream open source communities to contribute improvements and adopt emerging security technologies
- Document systems and workflows to ensure long-term sustainability and team-wide usability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building and supporting automation, particularly in security contexts
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations
- Working knowledge of container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, including associated security practices
- Experience with security scanning tools, including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability detection systems
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and mentor junior engineers
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Tekton or Ansible Automation Platform
- Use of AI-powered development tools to enhance coding, testing, or analysis workflows
Work Environment
This role is available in a hybrid or remote setup across EMEA countries including Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Ireland. Work models range from office-based to flexible and fully remote arrangements, supporting a diverse and distributed team.
