Constructor is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join the Searchandising team within our Merchant Experience chapter. In this fully remote role, you’ll design the end-to-end systems that let merchandisers fine-tune ranking and recall across Search and Browse shopping experiences. Your work will directly influence net revenue, add-to-cart rate, RPV, and customer retention for some of the world’s largest retailers.
What You'll Do
- Design the end-to-end systems that let merchandisers fine-tune ranking and recall across Search and Browse shopping experiences.
- Partner with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and merchandisers to transform complex, high-leverage workflows into intuitive tools.
- Create rule builders that feel effortless.
- Visualize ranking impact and conflicts in real time.
- Automate the tedious work of promotions so teams can move at the speed of retail.
- Bring transparency to cause-and-effect—showing how every change affects items, positions, and page metrics.
- Unlock rapid experimentation with personalisation and AI-assisted suggestions.
What We're Looking For
- A goal-oriented, iterative mindset focusing on solving high-impact problems and being comfortable learning, improving, and shipping quickly.
- Practical experience with research, including leading user interviews, usability tests, and data analysis.
- Experience designing for unfamiliar problems, especially in B2B contexts.
- Experience turning ambiguity into structure by spotting patterns, defining systems, and designing scalable, reusable solutions.

- Compensation: $80k to $120k USD base salary range.
