Photoroom is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead and elevate the user experience for millions of users across our mobile, web, and API products. This is a highly autonomous, end-to-end role where you will own the design process from initial research to final delivery, working closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to shape impactful products.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end design process, including UX, UI, design systems, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
- Work with and contribute to the evolution of our cross-platform design system.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to implement designs, adapting to the requirements of each platform.
- Shape the best possible user experience by balancing platform standards and brand expression.
- Focus on product impact and make pragmatic design decisions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate production and focus on bold ideas and high-impact execution.
- Partner with Design, Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning teams to ensure product coherence.
What We're Looking For
- An active portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for typography, color, and space, and a solid understanding of responsive design.
- Ability to balance speed with impact, being action-oriented and pragmatic.
- Experience working with a design system and approaching design as an interconnected system.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and work with various stakeholders.
- Cross-platform experience (mobile, web) for creating mockups and prototypes.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma.
- Good knowledge of graphic and animation tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a standalone freelancer or being part of building a creative tool at an early stage.

You will join a global team of over 100 world-class experts, collaborating closely with Design, Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning teams. You will report to the Head of Design.
