About the Role
Lead the design process for key product initiatives, from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals while mentoring junior designers and advocating for design best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the end-to-end design process for complex product features
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across teams and initiatives
- Iterate on designs based on usability testing, feedback, and data insights
- Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability
- Present design strategies and solutions to stakeholders and leadership
- Mentor and provide guidance to associate designers and new team members
- Balance user needs with technical constraints and business objectives
- Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity standards are met in all design outputs
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging design technologies
- Facilitate design critiques and contribute to a culture of design excellence

- Background in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries
- Experience with design systems at scale
