Responsibilities
- Establish and manage production readiness criteria across security, reliability, privacy, compliance, system operability, user interface quality, and platform integration.
- Develop and oversee enterprise-wide initiatives that define minimum requirements for launching and managing new products and services.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, security, platform, and go-to-market leadership to align accountability throughout product development and deployment.
- Convert high-level quality and risk considerations into specific, actionable checklists, requirements, and evaluation standards.
- Build scalable frameworks for product launches that maintain thoroughness without slowing innovation in a dynamic environment.
- Lead cross-team readiness reviews and decision-making forums, ensuring risks are identified early and addressed deliberately.
- Provide visibility into launch status, operational risks, and readiness shortfalls using software development lifecycle governance, automated controls, and concise metrics.
- Detect systemic deficiencies in tools, processes, or ownership that increase production risk, and initiate corrective programs.
- Minimize obstacles for product teams by clarifying expectations, embedding requirements into development tools, and preserving agility and iterative progress.
- Adapt and refine readiness standards and programs as products, customer needs, and regulatory demands evolve.
- Guide technical program managers and engineering teams in large-scale execution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration.
