Concurrent Technologies Corporation is looking for a Senior Principal Information Systems Security Engineer to provide technical leadership and guidance for cross-domain solutions (CDSs) within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. You will ensure security guidance is technically sound and enforceable.
What You'll Do
- Review, edit, and validate security guidance and requirements governing cross-domain solutions (CDSs) to ensure they are technically sound, internally consistent, and enforceable.
- Assess and refine official guidance language related to data filtering, content inspection, and file blocking requirements for malware prevention and data protection.
- Ensure security guidance accurately conveys core system security principles and control intent for consistent implementation.
- Provide insight into the establishment and updating of CDS development requirements, coordinating with cybersecurity, engineering, and compliance authorities.
- Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, designs, and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables.
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 12 years of directly related experience, or a Master’s degree and 10 years, or a PhD and 8 years.
- Minimum Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
Nice to Have
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government.
- Technical Certification as a Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) from INCOSE or DAWIA SPRDE Level 2.
