Uplift People Consulting is looking for a Senior PR Manager to build and elevate brand presence across Europe for a fintech client. Reporting to the CMO, you will drive media relations, thought leadership, and external communications, shaping the company's voice in the fintech ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement PR and communications strategy across Europe, aligning with product launches, strategic milestones, funding rounds, and brand initiatives.
- Act as the main liaison for global and local media, cultivating relationships with tech, finance, and business journalists.
- Write and oversee creation of press releases, Q&As, executive briefings, op-eds, speeches, and crisis communications.
- Lead and manage PR campaigns tied to launches, partnerships, and corporate announcements.
- Proactively monitor media sentiment, respond to reputational threats, and lead crisis communications.
- Track PR metrics such as media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and agency performance to optimize strategies.
- Manage local PR agencies, global PR partners, and potential in-house regional PR managers.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in PR or corporate communications.
- Deep network of media contacts and a proven record of Tier-1 media coverage across multiple European markets.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
- Understanding of European SME finance dynamics, regulatory factors, and media landscapes.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience managing communications under pressure and navigating sensitive situations.
Nice to Have
- Experience within fintech, SaaS, or high-growth technology companies.
- Proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian.
- Previous experience managing agencies or internal comms teams.
