Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the platform's underlying infrastructure
- Design and maintain systems for high reliability and uptime
- Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Influence and help define the long-term direction of the platform
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
- At least 2 years in a senior position with demonstrated success in building and maintaining large-scale production systems
- Strong working knowledge of core AWS services including VPC, IAM, EKS, and RDS, with solid grasp of cloud networking and security
- Proven expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Crossplane
- Extensive experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automation, beyond basic source control
- Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying applications via GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux using Helm Charts
- Skilled in observability platforms like Datadog, Sentry, CloudWatch, or Grafana, including setting up alerts, dashboards, and log processing
- Proficient in writing robust Python scripts to automate workflows and integrate systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, ask clarifying questions, and maintain progress without close supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
