Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AWS environments with built-in security using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CDK
- Manage end-to-end networking design including VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, NAT gateways, and secure remote access
- Implement and maintain network security controls including firewalls, security groups, and private connectivity
- Provision and support container orchestration platforms like ECS, EKS, and Fargate
- Lead the implementation of monitoring systems covering metrics, logging, and distributed tracing
- Work with security teams to route system and network logs into SIEM solutions for threat detection
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
- Partner in identifying, responding to, and resolving system incidents
- Create and maintain documented procedures for on-call support and platform operations
- Continuously tune systems for performance, cost efficiency, and high availability
- Address platform outages and lead post-incident reviews to improve resilience
- Respond to customer inquiries and RFPs regarding network architecture and infrastructure design
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, Route 53, KMS, and Transit Gateway
- Proven expertise in infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Solid grasp of cloud networking concepts and TLS termination practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret logs from network intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and load balancers
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise security tools including Zscaler, JAMF, or Microsoft Entra
