About the Role
This role involves building and supporting internal developer platforms that enable engineering teams to deliver software efficiently and securely. The candidate will implement CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, observability, and cloud-native technologies while mentoring others and driving technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain internal developer platforms for consistent software delivery
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Develop infrastructure as code using modern configuration tools
- Support cloud-native architectures on public and private cloud platforms
- Integrate security practices into platform workflows and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot complex system issues across distributed environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand platform needs
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
- Improve system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Lead initiatives to enhance platform scalability and reliability
- Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies for platform evolution
- Promote best practices in automation, configuration management, and deployment safety
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical platform components
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for system outages
- Drive adoption of platform standards across development teams
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical field
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
- Background in security engineering or compliance frameworks
- Contributions to open-source platform projects
- Experience with platform engineering in regulated industries
