Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of deployment strategies and continuous integration and delivery pipelines across development, staging, and production environments
- Architect and manage infrastructure across multiple public clouds and on-premise data centers
- Use infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform to automate environment provisioning and configuration management
- Develop end-to-end observability solutions including monitoring, logging, metrics collection, and alerting systems
- Enforce security standards, compliance requirements, and data governance across platforms
- Create automation tools, APIs, and scripts using Python to streamline operational workflows
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems under varying loads
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for system outages
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues across distributed environments
- Design and manage deployment pipelines supporting multiple environments and release stages
- Own the complete software release lifecycle including build, testing, deployment, and rollback procedures
- Implement advanced deployment patterns such as blue-green, canary, and progressive rollouts
- Develop automated tooling and workflows to support consistent and reliable deployments
- Ensure production deployments occur without service interruption and support rapid rollback when needed
- Improve the speed and efficiency of build and deployment processes
- Maintain and secure artifact storage and container image registries
- Design and operate resilient infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms
- Deploy and support on-premise infrastructure solutions tailored for enterprise clients using Linux systems
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, container orchestration, and networking configurations
- Establish disaster recovery plans, backup systems, and business continuity protocols
- Monitor and optimize cloud spending and resource allocation
- Define and monitor service level indicators, objectives, and error budgets for critical systems
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for consistent infrastructure deployment
- Implement GitOps practices to manage infrastructure changes through version-controlled workflows
- Automate infrastructure scaling, patching, and routine operational tasks
