Jobgether is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our remote-first team. You will develop and enhance a high-performance platform supporting user-generated content, focusing on maintaining code quality, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvements.

What You'll Do

Develop robust PHP code to implement new features of varying complexity.
Maintain, refactor, and troubleshoot existing codebases, resolving complex issues efficiently.
Participate in technical discussions and code reviews, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Ensure all code adheres to security, performance, and quality standards.
Contribute to improving the overall user experience with thoughtful enhancements.
Assist with technical support queries and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

Eligibility to work in the UK.
5+ years of experience in PHP and Laravel, with strong knowledge of development patterns and best practices.
Proficiency in automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit, feature tests).
Strong attention to detail and high standards for code quality.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, receptive to feedback.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with critical and creative thinking skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with gaming platforms or user-generated content systems.
