emerchantpay is hiring a Senior PHP Developer for a full-time role focused on developing and designing complex web-based applications for our global payment services. You will join a fast-growing company and contribute to multiple dynamic projects.
What You'll Do
- Perform backend web development for payment services.
- Design and implement complex websites, workflows, APIs, and plugins.
- Deliver code with the highest quality, following specific coding standards.
- Perform TDD/BDD using tools like PHPUnit.
- Work on multiple dynamic projects simultaneously.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional development experience.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in PHP, OOP, and MySQL.
- Experience with various MVC frameworks.
- Experience in JavaScript.
- Comfortable with TDD/BDD practices and following specific coding standards.
- Linux experience.
- Good communication skills and a good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proactive and self-motivated to learn and improve.
Nice to Have
- Experience in building APIs and API clients using latest standards.
- Experience with leading frameworks like Laravel, Lumen, Slim, or Symfony.
- Experience with WordPress: building plugins or themes from scratch.
- Experience with TDD/BDD, e.g., PHPUnit.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3 or 4.
- Experience with React.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
