Mercury is hiring a Senior Partner Operations Change Management Strategist

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading change management strategies within partner-facing operations, driving adoption of new systems and processes, and minimizing disruption during transitions. The strategist will work closely with operations, product, and partner teams to assess impact, develop implementation plans, and measure success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of change management plans for operational shifts
  • Assess the impact of changes on partner workflows and support structures
  • Develop communication strategies to inform and prepare stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align change initiatives with business goals
  • Identify resistance points and create mitigation strategies
  • Train teams on new processes and tools introduced through change
  • Monitor adoption metrics and report on change effectiveness
  • Gather feedback from partners and internal teams during transitions
  • Create playbooks for repeatable change management processes
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards during change implementation
  • Facilitate workshops to prepare teams for upcoming changes
  • Translate technical updates into clear, actionable guidance
  • Maintain documentation of change activities and outcomes
  • Support leadership in articulating vision during transformation periods
  • Coordinate timing of change rollouts with minimal partner disruption
  • Evaluate risks associated with operational changes
  • Standardize change communication templates across teams
  • Partner with HR on change-related workforce planning
  • Integrate change readiness assessments into project lifecycles
  • Drive consistency in how changes are introduced and managed
  • Use data to refine change strategies over time
  • Ensure equitable impact across diverse partner groups
  • Escalate critical change-related issues to leadership
  • Align change efforts with long-term operational strategy
  • Promote a culture of adaptability within operations teams

Nice to Have
