Escape Velocity Entertainment Inc is looking for a Senior Outsourcing Props Artist to collaborate closely with internal and external teams on 3D Props Assets for game cosmetics. This role manages asset delivery from vendors, serves as the primary contact for external partners, and provides direct, hands-on feedback.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on 3D Props Assets creation for Cosmetics.
- Work with the producer on scheduling and coordinate with the internal development team to meet project needs.
- Manage the delivery of assets from external vendors and serve as the primary point of contact for external partners.
- Intake and assess assets to ensure they meet required standards and provide valuable feedback.
- Drive, feedback, and implement high-quality Cosmetics 3D Props Assets.
- Communicate and partner between Concept Art, Environment Team, Character Team, Rigging, Animation, and VFX departments.
- Communicate, support, and provide feedback on work from External Vendors.
- Train and unblock outsourcing partners, provide best practices and samples, and support production schedules.
- Generate answers quickly to resolve ambiguity and champion best sustainable practices.
- Adapt to the concept and style of the project.
- Create beautiful and functional 3D Props Art from concept art and reference materials.
- Operate confidently in engine, implementing content and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in industry-standard software: Unreal, Substance Painter, Maya, Zbrush.
- Experience working on a released game.
- Experience with creation of a wide variety of 3D Assets.
- Attention to detail and clear organizational skills.
- A mind for problem-solving large-scale asset management, pipeline inefficiencies, and comprehensive processes on a technical level.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, natural curiosity for the bigger picture, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous experience in an Outsourcing role, partnering successfully with external vendors.
- Must be extremely nimble, with strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to varying time schedules, evolving project needs, and non-traditional hours across different time zones.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Autodesk Flow Production for Tracking and Confluence.
- Experience with rigging, VFX, or animation.
- Experience in concept art and visual design.
