Lead the evolution of mobile experiences that are central to how construction teams operate in the field. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll take technical ownership of our iOS applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and intuitive. Your work will directly impact how real-world building processes are digitized and streamlined.
What You'll Do
- Drive the architecture and implementation of iOS features, with a focus on offline functionality, data synchronization, and conflict resolution.
- Transform complex, on-the-ground workflows into seamless, user-friendly mobile interfaces using SwiftUI and modern development practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Construction Operations to define requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver meaningful improvements.
- Shape long-term mobile strategy by influencing data models, API design, and cross-platform integration.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code frequently, prioritizing reliability and real user impact.
- Guide and mentor fellow engineers, elevating mobile engineering standards and developer experience across the team.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on shipping production mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with deep knowledge of native iOS development patterns.
- Proven experience leading technical projects from concept to deployment, balancing product needs with sound engineering decisions.
- Expertise in offline-first mobile applications, local data management, and synchronization strategies.
- Experience integrating AI-driven features such as automation, LLM-based workflows, or machine learning components.
- Understanding of mobile performance, usability, and UI/UX best practices.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs is a plus.
