Truelogic Software is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer (Android) - Advertising to join our global team building innovative, high-performance mobile applications that deliver news to millions of users worldwide. As a key member of the mobile development team, you will design, develop, and optimize Android applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, QA) to define, build, and deliver new features.
- Optimize app performance, ensuring smooth user experiences even under high-traffic conditions.
- Implement best practices for clean architecture, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines/Flow.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate with RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Expertise in Kotlin and familiarity with Java.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design guidelines.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and offline storage (Room/SQLite).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Firebase App Distribution, Fastlane).
- Experience with performance optimization, memory management, and benchmarking tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
- Located in Latin America.
- Fluent in English.
