Responsibilities
- Design marine infrastructure such as quay walls, piers, jetties, revetments, breakwaters, fender systems, scour protection, linkspan supports, and dolphins
- Lead planning, development, and timely delivery of engineering outputs
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in producing high-quality engineering calculations using industry-standard software including ROBOT, GRLWEAP, WALLAP, TEDDS, PLAXIS 3D, and similar tools
- Review technical specifications, reports, and engineering notes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Evaluate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure precision and adherence to project timelines
- Guide and mentor junior engineers to strengthen technical outcomes and build team expertise
- Support tender preparation including cost estimation, scheduling, resource planning, and technical writing
- Oversee on-site construction of maritime structures with hands-on supervision experience
- Apply thorough knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and established maritime engineering practices
- Manage diverse projects across varying budgets and levels of complexity
