adesso Group is looking for a Senior Manager Software Development specializing in PHP / Symfony. In this role, you will combine team leadership with hands-on project involvement, building customer relationships and actively contributing to our corporate culture.

What You'll Do

Manage hiring, development, and retention for your PHP/Symfony competency team.
Work on technological projects with modern web architectures based on PHP/Symfony, contributing your expertise as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Requirements Engineer, or Software Architect.
Maintain customer relationships, advise clients on digitalization and transformation projects, and steer cross-functional teams.
Actively shape our leadership understanding and corporate culture through Leader Circles.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience leading software projects.
Familiarity with agile methods.
Experience building and developing teams.
Knowledge of the success factors of disciplinary leadership and successful teamwork.
Excellent German and good English language skills for confident communication.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of modern PHP technologies, particularly in the Symfony environment and with corresponding web architectures.
Previous exposure in projects with systems like Ibexa, Drupal, Sulu, or Shopware.
