Position Kueski is recruiting a Design Lead tasked with developing mobile-first design strategies and frameworks for the Kueski App and mobile interfaces. This role perfectly suits a hands-on product design leader with proven expertise in transforming conceptual mobile products into operational platforms and scaling them through collaborative partnerships. As a pivotal leader reporting to the Head of Design, you will translate organizational vision into pragmatic standards and actionable objectives, collaborate intimately with Product and Engineering teams, and elevate design excellence across our product ecosystem in LATAM FinTech. Key Responsibilities Design Strategy & Excellence - Influence and collaborate with executive leadership to establish design excellence standards across our product ecosystem - Spearhead innovation for Kueski App and mobile experience design - Translate organizational vision into best practices and actionable goals, ensuring product design team preparedness - Proactively anticipate future opportunities and challenges in user experience domains - Contribute to cultivating an excellence-driven culture while maintaining operational velocity without compromising design integrity User-Obsessed, Evidence-Based Innovation - Collaborate in defining Kueski's comprehensive product strategy using trusted design research and ideation - Drive creative exploration to enhance customer discovery, onboarding, account creation, KYC, and core transactional experiences through evidence-driven insights - Represent Kueski's brand, mission, and values through user-centric design approaches Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery - Collaborate with critical partners across Research, Engineering, Leadership, Operations, Legal, Facilities, and other departments to support emerging and ongoing initiatives - Demonstrate capacity for rapid, informed decision-making while addressing diverse stakeholder requirements Team Leadership & Culture - Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of exceptional design practitioners - Foster a culture emphasizing excellence, professional growth, and collaborative engagement Job Requirements - 8+ years leading impactful mobile design teams and products - Demonstrated leadership in mobile product design and cross-organizational collaboration - Advanced proficiency with web and mobile technologies and software - Ability to make swift, informed decisions addressing multiple stakeholder needs - Extensive experience in recruiting, managing, and developing product designers within software environments - Exceptional communication skills adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences - English fluency, with Spanish language skills considered advantageous Diversity & Inclusion At Kueski, we wholeheartedly embrace diversity in all manifestations, systematically promoting equity and ensuring universal inclusion and belonging.
