About the Role

Stryker Corporation is hiring a Senior Manager, HR Merger & Acquisition Support to play a critical role in our transaction strategy. You will be responsible for developing the HR solution for deals, managing execution risks through due diligence, and advising on post-merger integration.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute HR due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring alignment with transaction goals.
  • Participate in planning calls to track deliverables and share emerging HR findings.
  • Review virtual data rooms for critical HR, Finance, and Legal documents.
  • Monitor VDR responses and coordinate with external counsel to ensure complete HR documentation.
  • Identify and assess HR financial risks, including executive agreements, labor compliance, and total rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and GQO HR partners to develop transaction headcount plans.
  • Use headcount plans to estimate one-time HR Non-GAAP costs for financial modeling.
  • Contribute to due diligence dashboards, risk matrices, red flag summaries, and executive presentations.
  • Compare total rewards programs to Stryker’s to identify integration cost implications.
  • Support negotiation of HR-related SPA clauses and align internal/external stakeholders on risk and integration strategy.
  • Advise leadership on deal structure and post-merger HR integration, including organizational design and change management.
  • Coordinate and manage activities of the Senior HR Diligence specialist as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or related and 10+ years of work experience required OR 16+ years of total work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Relevant experience in HR due diligence, M&A consulting, or corporate HR with deal experience.
  • Understanding of employment law, HR compliance, total rewards, and labor relations across different jurisdictions.
  • Experience in drafting clear and concise management presentations, due diligence summaries and reports.
  • Understanding of critical aspects of purchase agreements, deal negotiations and early stage integration planning for HR.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI to distill complex HR issues into actionable insights.

  • Fluent in English with the ability to work and write in another language.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $129,600-$286,500
  • Salary plus bonus eligible + benefits
