Colac Area Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Enterprise Assurance to lead the design and implementation of a new enterprise assurance function from scratch. This is a two-year fixed-term opportunity until June 2027 where you will build frameworks, systems, and reports in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of the enterprise assurance function, including strategies, frameworks, systems, and Executive reports.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, establish processes, and create efficiencies.
- Embed a culture of robust risk and control awareness.
- Pioneer new ways of delivering assurance and risk management.
- Sell the value of your work to senior stakeholders and secure buy-in for critical projects.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership and management skills formed across enterprise risk, internal audit, and assurance sectors.
- Experience building process and capability from scratch, overcoming integration challenges, and delivering frameworks aligned with better practice.
- Recognition as a strategic influencer and team builder.
- Skilled at developing enterprise assurance programs and engaging stakeholders.
- Experience in enterprise risk management, auditing, and assurance within large, complex organisations.
Nice to Have
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, RMIA, or IIA.
