NTT DATA is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain high-volume, low-latency Java-based applications, translating business goals into functional software.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that are high-volume and low-latency.
- Analyze user requirements to define business objectives and application functionality.
- Envision system features and ensure application designs conform with business goals.
- Develop, test, and debug software, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Create detailed design documentation and develop technical designs for application development.
- Write well-designed, testable code and develop multimedia applications.
- Manage Java and Java EE application development.
- Transform requirements into stipulations and prepare releases of software components.
- Propose changes to current Java infrastructure.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting findings for architectural review.
- Develop documentation to help users.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Lead Engineer or Senior Java Developer.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-volume, low-latency applications.
- Strong capability in analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical designs.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in writing well-designed, testable code.
- Experience in software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Ability to create detailed design documentation and develop technical designs.
- Skill in managing Java and Java EE application development.
- Ability to propose infrastructure changes and support continuous technical improvement.
