American Credit Acceptance is hiring a Senior Information Security Architect

Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain organization-wide security architecture frameworks that align with business goals and risk mitigation approaches.
  • Guide the creation of standardized security architectures for both cloud platforms and on-site infrastructure.
  • Establish and uphold secure software development guidelines across engineering units.
  • Manage the incorporation of dynamic and static application security testing tools into continuous integration and deployment workflows.
  • Work closely with DevOps and development teams to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Design and deploy security measures for cloud environments on AWS and Azure, covering identity management, encryption, logging, and threat monitoring.
  • Assess and implement native cloud security solutions such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Defender.
  • Ensure older and mixed infrastructure systems meet current cybersecurity benchmarks.
  • Direct risk evaluation efforts and develop corrective actions for on-premise systems.
  • Ensure security designs comply with recognized standards including NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Assist in audit processes and maintain adherence to regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Advise senior leadership on strategic security initiatives and enterprise risk posture.
  • Coach junior team members and promote a proactive security mindset across technical teams.
