Create and sustain organization-wide security architecture frameworks that align with business goals and risk mitigation approaches.
Guide the creation of standardized security architectures for both cloud platforms and on-site infrastructure.
Establish and uphold secure software development guidelines across engineering units.
Manage the incorporation of dynamic and static application security testing tools into continuous integration and deployment workflows.
Work closely with DevOps and development teams to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle.
Design and deploy security measures for cloud environments on AWS and Azure, covering identity management, encryption, logging, and threat monitoring.
Assess and implement native cloud security solutions such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Defender.
Ensure older and mixed infrastructure systems meet current cybersecurity benchmarks.
Direct risk evaluation efforts and develop corrective actions for on-premise systems.
Ensure security designs comply with recognized standards including NIST and ISO 27001.
Assist in audit processes and maintain adherence to regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Advise senior leadership on strategic security initiatives and enterprise risk posture.
Coach junior team members and promote a proactive security mindset across technical teams.
