General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. is hiring a Senior Information Assurance Engineer to ensure the security and compliance of innovative systems in a classified environment. You will apply your expertise throughout the system development life cycle using hands-on implementation of the Risk Management Framework.
What You'll Do
- Work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and run security assessments across various platforms.
- Build RMF documentation, including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and compliance checks in a DevSecOps environment.
- Collaborate with teams, customers, and stakeholders to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field.
- 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance at time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification.
- TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
- Strong expertise in systems engineering and cybersecurity frameworks like NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.
- Experience with STIGs, security policies, and vulnerability assessments for different systems and devices.
- Proficiency in developing RMF documentation and performing compliance scans.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Participation in cybersecurity working groups and Agile teams.
- A self-starter mindset with creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and security tools.
