Join Wellth as a Senior Health Informatics Data Analyst to transform healthcare data into compelling narratives and actionable insights that prove the impact of our behavior change programs. You will be the healthcare data subject matter expert, guiding data structure, conducting analyses, and presenting findings to clients and internal teams. Success in this role advances our understanding of healthcare data, drives client growth through analysis, and involves partnering with engineering on data modeling.
What You'll Do
- Conduct analyses to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and propose strategies that drive success and outcomes for Wellth’s members and payer and provider clients.
- Lead engaging client discussions, present transformative analyses, and provide compelling insights on quality metric performance, CMS measures, and ROI.
- Develop and present complex reports, dashboards, visualizations and presentations to demonstrate Wellth’s value and support both new business and ongoing partnerships.
- Partner with commercial and client success teams to provide feedback and identify new ways to leverage data insights to address client-specific challenges.
- Support the client data onboarding plan and execution including internal and external coordination and communication.
- Develop and refine targeting algorithms to identify members most likely to benefit from Wellth’s interventions.
- Provide strategic recommendations internally for new use cases, enhancements to existing analytics capabilities, and ways to optimize data usage.
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends and analytics methodologies, continuously refining analytical methods to drive more meaningful insights.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working with healthcare products and data, having directly worked with medical/pharmacy claims data, patient data, and other health-related data sets.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a healthcare data analyst in a client-facing capacity.
- Experience optimizing SQL queries running on analytical databases such as Redshift and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality metrics (HEDIS, Stars) and ROI/financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex data into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality with experience developing repeatable, scalable processes.
- Ability to provide strategic insights and proactively identify new ways to leverage data to meet client objectives and optimize quality measures.
Nice to Have
- Experience in exploring advanced data analysis techniques, including developing Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience performing light data science tasks (e.g., statistical modeling, exploratory data analysis).
- Experience leveraging AI/ML tools for insights generation.
