BetterHelp, via TensorOps, is looking for a Senior GSA - Tax & Accounting to act as the primary contact point for customers, performing and coordinating the delivery of accounting and tax compliance services. You will join our #HSPGlobalSolutionTeam to help power the next wave of global growth.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.
- Monitor and manage accounting and tax compliance requirements for clients, including tax and statutory filings.
- Provide guidance to clients on accounting and tax best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and local service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and local providers to understand their needs and provide customized, proactive solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of new services and processes to improve the client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records by leveraging systems like Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, and Microsoft Teams.
- Create service tickets, sense-check data from customers and providers, and monitor task status with regular updates.
- Respond to customer ad hoc queries and ensure appropriate teams are involved for escalations or service add-on opportunities.
- Build and maintain a region and/or service line specific knowledge base.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Accounting and Tax in a customer-facing service delivery capacity.
- Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience with market accounting systems such as Netsuite, Xero, SAGE Intacct, QuickBooks, or others.
- General understanding of the complexities of Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Management Reporting, and Consolidation services across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong customer-facing and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management and/or onboarding experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- A dependable, consistent performer with a positive attitude who works collaboratively and listens well.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to an evolving environment.
- Works well in a team environment and is a proactive contributor to the overall success of the team.
- Ability to manage multiple business relationships effectively and harmoniously.
Nice to Have
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
