adjoe GmbH is hiring a Senior Go Backend Developer (f/m/d)

adjoe GmbH is looking for a Senior Go Backend Developer (f/m/d) to contribute to the development of our highly performant Go backend and microservice architecture. You will work on an innovative mobile ad platform, building systems that process millions of events hourly to deliver optimized rewarded ad experiences to hundreds of millions of users.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development of our backend written +99% in Go and maintain our microservice architecture.
• Use event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis for reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
• Continuously search for ways to decrease API response time for complex queries on hundreds of terabytes of data.
• Support partners by providing them with raw or aggregated data based on their business needs.
• Collaborate with our Data Science team to solve complex math problems and integrate ML algorithm solutions.
• Be responsible for collecting billions of daily API events and aggregating them in Kafka and Kinesis streams.
• Work in a community of developers, sharing knowledge and contributing to peer code reviews.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience with Golang in a production environment.
• Knowledge about databases and a basic understanding of Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol and Encoding.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Golang in distributed systems.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker and serverless infrastructure.
