About the Role
The candidate will lead the development and optimization of backend infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions that support evolving product demands.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement server-side logic for scalable applications
- Optimize data storage and retrieval across distributed databases
- Design and maintain APIs for internal and external service integration
- Collaborate with frontend teams to define interface requirements
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring and incident response
- Participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time
- Contribute to deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies for performance gains
- Support security best practices across backend components
- Document system design and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and feedback
- Drive improvements in system observability and logging
- Work with product teams to refine technical requirements
- Maintain uptime and performance under high-traffic conditions
- Implement efficient caching strategies for data-intensive services
- Refactor legacy systems to improve maintainability
- Enforce data consistency across microservices
- Collaborate on disaster recovery planning
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability assessments
