Magic Media is hiring a Senior Game Producer to oversee the completion of an undisclosed project, ensuring it meets the timeline, budget, and quality standards for both the studio and our client. You will report to the Head of Production and play a central role in guiding this project to success.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary game development team.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are set, planned, and achieved across departments.
- Manage the project budget by determining resource needs, monitoring expenditure, and revising forecasts.
- Guarantee adherence to the project's defined scope.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies among schedule, budget, and design objectives.
- Communicate project progress clearly to company management and the client.
- Ensure each team member follows a tracked schedule and feels ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
- Promote effective communication, nurture positive work relationships, and encourage teamwork.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a production role managing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in common Production methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Expertise with project management software, including Jira, Shotgun, Excel, Project, and Confluence or equivalents.
- Excellent knowledge and solid experience of using Jira in everyday work.
- Deep understanding of game development, software development processes, and project management practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail on both a personal and team level.
- Self-starter who approaches challenges creatively and methodically.
- Active listener who makes decisions based on data.
- Proactive outward attitude, consistently professional, respectful, and approachable.
Nice to Have
- Experience running multiple projects simultaneously, regardless of size.
- BA degree or equivalent in management or organization.
- Shipped AA and/or AAA titles from start to finish.
- Experience working in the service-providing industry.
