- Design and expand the auction engine to handle high-concurrency bidding and listing systems, driving significant annual revenue.
- Create next-generation features utilizing AI to offer immediate valuations and upfront liquidity to consignors and sellers.
- Leverage data and machine learning to develop personalized discovery experiences, matching unique collectibles with suitable buyers.
- Create and launch advanced management tools for high-frequency sellers and experienced hobbyists.
- Develop end-to-end systems, from low-latency backend logic for live bidding to responsive user interfaces.
- Promote technical excellence by mentoring the team and setting high standards for code quality, system reliability, and performance.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in building and scaling complex applications using Python, Postgres, and AWS/Cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in modern frontend technologies, including React, TypeScript, and creating high-performance, real-time user interfaces.
- Proven ability to build reliable systems that maintain high availability under significant traffic and pressure.

Required
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling complex applications (Python, Postgres, AWS/Cloud infra)
