Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete features spanning backend services and frontend interfaces, using Python for APIs and data models and React with TypeScript for user interfaces.
- Create robust, scalable backend systems and APIs that serve web, mobile, and external platforms, prioritizing performance, monitoring, and uptime.
- Build and sustain responsive front-end components using React and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility across devices.
- Work closely with product, design, security, compliance, and data teams to convert business needs into secure, high-quality technical implementations.
- Improve and maintain a shared component library and design system to promote consistency and speed up development across engineering teams.
- Construct and support data pipelines that enable analytics, fraud detection, geolocation, and regulatory reporting with accurate and timely data.
- Advocate for system security, performance, and compliance with standards such as AML, KYC, and data privacy across all layers of the application.
- Engage in incident management, system monitoring, and root cause investigations to ensure platform stability and a reliable user experience.
- Guide and support fellow engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to raise the team's overall technical proficiency.
- Help shape product strategy by analyzing user needs, business outcomes, edge cases, and engineering tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.
