U-Haul is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to build, maintain, and lead development on mission-critical enterprise applications and services used by business teams and thousands of field locations. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, directly interact with business stakeholders, and tackle advanced troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

Write maintainable, reliable code following best practices.
Own, serve as subject matter expert, and provide technical leadership for individual applications, architecture initiatives, and high-risk/complexity features.
Independently estimate and break down work starting from high-level business and technical requirements.
Interface directly with business stakeholders or other development teams for scoping, clarification, and status communication.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem solving across software, systems, and databases.
Serve as a technical lead: mentor, train, and support other developers; perform design and code reviews.
Exercise excellent technical judgement and decision-making for ambiguous, complex problems.
Complete assigned tasks and project work with minimal oversight or direct supervision.
Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and sees them through resolution.

What We're Looking For

6+ years of professional software development experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have proof of U.S. employment authorization.
Highly skilled in applying critical thinking and structured programming fundamentals.
Must reside in the U.S.

Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 depending on experience
