Every is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the architecture and maintenance of our large-scale, custom headless commerce platform. You'll work within a modern TypeScript-first environment, using React Router v7 (Remix), Node.js, and Turborepo to build a robust system that integrates Shopify with Builder.io and custom microservices.

What You'll Do

Architect, implement, and maintain large-scale integrations within our modern headless commerce environment.
Design, deploy, and consume Node-based microservices to orchestrate data and events between systems like Shopify, Salsify, HubSpot, and Builder.io.
Extend Shopify platform capabilities through custom Shopify apps, including admin and checkout UI extensions, advanced bundling logic, and dynamic draft order workflows.
Reason about architecture, data flow, and the impact of design decisions across services with a systems-thinking mindset.
Focus on performance and reliability through caching, code splitting, async lifecycles, and observability with Sentry.
Work within our modern TypeScript-first, microservices-driven environment to make pragmatic, scalable technical decisions.

What We're Looking For

Deep Shopify experience — building against Admin, Storefront, Functions, and Checkout UI Extension APIs; understanding platform constraints and best practices for scalable workarounds.
Advanced React / Remix / Node.js proficiency, with a strong understanding of SSR, routing, and composable architecture.
Full-stack TypeScript expertise, including typing complex data models and designing maintainable shared packages across a monorepo.
Experience designing, deploying, and consuming microservices & APIs to orchestrate data and events between systems.
A strong systems-thinking mindset — able to reason about architecture, data flow, and the impact of design decisions across services.
A focus on performance and reliability — experience with caching, code splitting, async lifecycles, and observability.
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub automation for linting, tests, and deployments.
Comfort in modern headless commerce environments, with familiarity with Builder.io, Vercel, and related tooling.

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven systems.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
Experience with eCommerce data workflows (PIM/ERP).
