Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team building robust, scalable microservices and user-facing applications for retail and eCommerce brands. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing API-first, composable services and shaping the technical direction of critical systems within a cloud-native environment.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain microservices and business-facing user dashboards with a focus on quality and scalability.
Collaborate with product teams to design and implement API-first services within a retail cloud environment.
Write clean, functional, and testable code primarily in TypeScript and JavaScript, leveraging AWS Serverless technologies.
Publish APIs, SDKs, and CLIs to facilitate ease of use by other internal developers.
Stay current with best practices in software engineering and apply them to projects.
Take ownership of the full software lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 7+ years of software development experience with strong skills in both frontend and backend components.
Proficiency in TypeScript (3+ years) and JavaScript.
Experience in Node.js.
Familiarity with AWS Serverless services such as Lambda, CloudFront, and CodePipeline.
Strong sense of ownership and commitment to high-quality software solutions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions.
Problem-solving mindset focused on delivering the best solutions rather than quick fixes.
