Markon is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer

Markon is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a large-scale technical development program focused on IdAM/ICAM initiatives within a secure network environment. Your role involves hands-on software development across modern front-end and back-end technologies to design and deliver reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement robust, resilient enterprise applications.
• Deliver software solutions aligned with Sponsor requirements.
• Support development within secure AWS cloud environments.
• Develop modern front-end applications using Angular (experience with React or Vue also valued).
• Develop back-end services using TypeScript, including building RESTful APIs with NestJS.
• Create test scripts and perform unit testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system engineers, cybersecurity engineers, DBAs, and system architects.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage workload and deliver iterative improvements.
• Work closely with security engineers to address and remediate findings from system security scans.

What We're Looking For

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.).
• Experience building RESTful APIs using TypeScript (e.g., NestJS).
• Experience developing enterprise applications in AWS environments.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Development, Systems Engineering, Security Compliance, and QA.

Nice to Have

• Experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Experience with serverless platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Familiarity with the security accreditation process.
• Experience working in Agile, SAFe, or Scrum environments.

Team & Environment

You will be part of a large-scale (200+ FTE) technical development program, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system engineers, cybersecurity engineers, DBAs, and system architects.
