Photoroom is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer for our Web team, specializing in frontend architecture. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, high-performance web application using React.js and TypeScript, owning work from collaboration to implementation.
What You'll Do
- Architect and develop a scalable and high-performing web application using React.js and TypeScript.
- Effectively manage application state with MobX to ensure responsive and efficient user interfaces.
- Own work from A to Z: collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement design specs, plan workload, communicate risks, and analyze product design complexity.
- Optimize web application performance, focusing on rendering speed and runtime efficiency.
- Leverage state-of-the-art AI-based tooling to automate manual, repetitive tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in architecting and developing large-scale web applications, like SaaS platforms that have scaled to millions of users and/or 10s of developers.
- In-depth knowledge of React.js and state management using MobX or good knowledge of the observer pattern.
- Good communication skills: you don’t hesitate to reach out to the relevant stakeholders to gather the right information, and you know how to showcase your work.
- Autonomous, pragmatic approach favoring speed of iteration over perfection. You believe that fast iteration is the best way to learn.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of how to leverage AI tooling to work faster without compromising quality.
