About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving our platform by building scalable, maintainable features using React and TypeScript. You'll take ownership of frontend architecture, working closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver solutions that meet both user needs and technical standards.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement new features with a focus on clean, efficient, and accessible code
  • Collaborate across disciplines to define technical direction and improve system design
  • Lead code reviews, advocate for best practices, and guide junior developers
  • Optimize front-end performance and streamline build processes
  • Contribute to long-term planning and platform scalability
  • Connect engineering efforts to measurable business impact

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • 6+ years focused on React and TypeScript in production environments
  • Strong grasp of React patterns, state management, and component architecture
  • Experience with large-scale TypeScript applications and modern tooling
  • Proficiency in semantic HTML, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Background in front-end performance optimization and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with API integration and data modeling
  • Proven ability to mentor peers and elevate team-wide code quality

Preferred Experience

  • Tools: MUI, Nx, Zustand, SWR, Jest, ECharts
  • Backend exposure: Go, PostgreSQL
  • Cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform
  • Domain knowledge in FinTech, economics, or private equity

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, requiring two days per week in the office. We support flexibility and work-life balance, with remote allowances and a structured yet adaptable schedule.
