StubHub is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on Design Systems. In this role, you'll build the foundation for consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across all our platforms. You will shape the system's architecture, establish standards, and drive adoption across the company as part of our mission to redefine the live event experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub’s platforms and products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code.
- Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
- Mentor other team members and help increase their technical capabilities, fostering a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity.
What We're Looking For
- 5–6+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- 2+ years focused on design systems or reusable component libraries.
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript, and Storybook.
- Experience building accessible, production-ready UI components.
- Collaborated with designers to translate Figma libraries into scalable components.
- Contributed to design tokens, theming, and component packaging.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
- Maintained Storybook documentation using MDX and usage guidelines.
- Implemented unit, integration, and e2e tests.
- Conducted accessibility and performance checks (e.g., axe, Lighthouse).
- Mentored engineers and helped define frontend standards, patterns, and code review practices.
- Web-focused, but able to collaborate with mobile teams (e.g., React Native) to align design system usage.
