Super Dispatch is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer

Super Dispatch is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to architect, design, and develop customer-facing web interfaces for our vehicle transportation platform. You will join an agile team dedicated to solving complex problems and improving services across our end-to-end platform.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build and grow the vehicle shipping platform.
• Architect, design, document, develop, refactor, deploy, and operate customer-facing web interfaces.
• Collaborate on technical projects across teams within Super Dispatch.
• Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team with its own mission.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a product-driven environment.
• 3+ years as a Frontend Engineer in a product-driven environment.
• Fluent in JavaScript and TypeScript, with production experience in the React ecosystem (React, React Router, React Query).
• Comfortable with HTML and CSS, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience writing automated tests using tools like Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Well-versed in Agile development and hands-on with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and frontend software architecture.
• Contributed to mentoring others and leading frontend initiatives.
• Worked with REST APIs, handled WebSockets, and understand frontend-backend integration.
• Familiar with observability practices—debugging, logging, and monitoring client-side applications.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions, write documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Comfortable communicating in English at a professional level.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern ECMAScript (ESNext) features.
• Worked with Node.js, Java, Python, or have backend development experience.
• Implemented Server Side Rendering (SSR) or Server Sent Events (SSE).
• Contributed to or built Design Systems.
• Worked with motion/animation libraries for UI interactions.
• Familiar with cloud messaging patterns.
• Seen as a frontend leader bringing vision and clarity to architectural decisions.
• Experience writing Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) or similar technical documentation.
