Xero is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to build and maintain the web applications our customers rely on every day. You'll join a team focused on delivering high-quality user experiences across our platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement responsive, accessible user interfaces
- Build reusable components and front-end architecture
- Collaborate with product designers and back-end engineers
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
- Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years professional front-end development experience
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Production experience with modern front-end frameworks
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization
- Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Australia. You can work from our offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Canberra, or remotely within Australia.
