Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with pharmaceutical and biotech leaders to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions on the Owkin K platform.
- Develop code, integrate systems, architect scalable designs, and prototype new features to embed advanced AI into live scientific processes.
- Work alongside internal specialists to jointly define and meet client requirements.
- Inform product development by translating field insights into strategic platform improvements.
- Establish engineering excellence standards and support the professional growth of junior team members.
- Implement and deploy reliable AI systems using the Owkin K framework.
- Create integrations, design data pipelines and APIs, and convert uncertain requirements into dependable software for mission-critical workflows.
- Engage directly with engineers, data scientists, biologists, and medical professionals from both client organizations and internally.
- Transform unclear scientific and operational problems into actionable software solutions through rapid prototyping and user collaboration.
- Integrate technical solutions within large, regulated enterprises with complex infrastructure.
- Manage diverse datasets and legacy systems while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure scalability and production reliability.
- Immerse in client environments to solve high-impact problems by tailoring and extending the core agentic platform.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of customized solutions built on Owkin K, from initial concept to final implementation.
- Advance fast iteration cycles to validate solutions early and frequently with stakeholders.
- Balance project scope, delivery speed, and quality, adjusting strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as a technical leader, promoting best practices, high engineering standards, and mentoring less experienced forward deployed engineers.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences to align goals and expectations.
- Partner with Customer Success, Domain Experts, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and long-term product adoption.
- Convert successful implementations into reusable tools, components, and standardized procedures.
- Bridge field experience with product planning by providing structured feedback that shapes future roadmap decisions.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support deployed systems.
