ASE Global is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. You will provide actionable insights, robust budgetary control, and forward-looking financial planning for our portfolio of companies.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
- Ensure all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements, including the IFRS transition.
- Manage month-end entries and allocations, including GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, and salary and department cost allocations.
- Manage accruals and provisions for bonuses/commissions and AFDA provisions for bad debts.
- Prepare payroll reports and tax/transfer pricing entries.
- Finalize monthly entries, reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.
- Analyze the Profit and Loss statement and prepare Financial Statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Review results with Managing Directors, provide controller insights, improve processes, and document financial procedures.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance against budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
- Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks to enable management to make informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and regularly update rolling/active forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions for KPI tracking.
- Perform cash flow reporting and analysis.
- Prepare MBR Decks.
- Perform churn reporting.
- Provide AR/AP oversight.
- Manage financial integration.
- Handle tax/annual filing.
- Manage audit processes.
- Prepare Accounting Position Papers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in Office suite and accounting software (e.g., Netsuite (Oracle) or other relevant software).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of Microsoft Excel experience including pivot tables and lookups.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Nice to Have
- CPA, CIMA or ACCA certification.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations, ideally in the UK, Nordics and Spain.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative finance team, working remotely for a portfolio of companies within a global organization of more than 3,000 employees across 20+ countries. You will report to the Head of Portfolio Finance, Portfolio Manager, and Managing Directors.
