Cytiva, a Danaher company, is hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer to be a key advocate for customer satisfaction and a steward for the company. You will work remotely, primarily covering the New York Tri-State area to increase throughput, decrease downtime, and perform vital maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Ensure customer satisfaction in all aspects of your work.
- Increase customer throughput and decrease operational downtime.
- Perform regular Preventive Maintenance and upgrades.
- Act as a clear advocate for the customer and a steward for the company.
- Work remotely, traveling to customer sites in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, with a higher concentration in New York City.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science or military equivalent.
- 1 year of computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based networking.
- 1 year of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Minimum 5 years of troubleshooting skills and ability to use documentation for troubleshooting.
- Valid passport or equivalent for travel into Europe.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of prior field service experience in a related field or military equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or type of engineering degree.
- Inventory Management experience, including cycle counts, updating car stock, and returning aging inventory.
