Lockheed Martin Canada is looking for a Senior Electronic Attack Analyst to play a key role in supporting the Royal Canadian Navy. You will be embedded at the Naval Electronic Warfare Centre (NEWC) in Ottawa, developing Electronic Attack (EA) mission libraries and using advanced modelling tools to ensure mission readiness.
What You'll Do
- Conduct open and classified literature research and engineering analysis for system parameters and behaviours.
- Perform mathematical modelling based on first principles to estimate system parameters and develop parametric models.
- Conduct simulation engagements between various entities, such as ships and threat systems.
- Execute Monte Carlo simulations and analysis.
- Perform analysis and verification activities to confirm system model behaviours.
- Document simulation results.
- Support documentation as well as verification and validation (V&V) of the digital models.
- Support shore-based and sea trials.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, or a relevant engineering field with 5 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Radar systems design, radar signal processing, and analysis.
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) theory.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen.
Nice to Have
- A master’s or PhD degree in mathematics, physics, or engineering.
- Physics-based modelling and simulation experience using SADM, MATLAB/Simulink.
- Electronic Warfare (EW) systems design and analysis.
- Knowledge of EA and electronic protection concepts and systems.
- Experience with Electronic support measures design and analysis.
- Experience with Antenna design and analysis.
- Knowledge of Guided weapon systems (autopilots, tracking, guidance, navigation, and control).
- Experience with Military systems modelling and simulation.
