The Senior Director of the Orange Movement will lead the global expansion of IIX's initiative to integrate gender equality and climate action into financial markets. This role requires strategic leadership to scale the Orange Movement through capital mobilization, partnership development, and advocacy, with a focus on growing Orange Bonds and related financial instruments worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a global strategy to expand the Orange Investor Alliance and Partner Coalition
- Engage institutional investors, DFIs, corporates, philanthropies, and governments to channel capital through Orange
- Build trust with policymakers, regulators, and multilaterals to embed Orange standards into financial systems
- Drive the pipeline of Orange Capital transactions across multiple markets
- Ensure through partnership and advocacy that Orange Bonds, Orange Bond Labeling, Orange Guarantees, Orange Seal etc are replicated globally, creating demonstration effects and new investor classes
- Mobilize both grants and catalytic capital to scale
- Lead the Orange Bond Verifier Training program and similar certification tracks
- Expand training offerings for investors, regulators, and issuers to build global confidence in Orange instruments
- Partner with universities, think tanks, and global institutions to mainstream Orange finance education
- Build and manage a high-performing Orange Movement team, fostering entrepreneurial, cross-functional collaboration
- Act as Secretariat for the Steering Committee, Advisory Council, and Working Groups
- Ensure inclusive, accountable, and transparent governance
- Lead the flagship Orange Forum and other global convenings
- Curate high-impact campaigns that place Orange Financing at the center of global finance dialogues
- Publish research, thought leadership, and storytelling that amplify Orange’s influence
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years in strategic partnerships, capital markets, fundraising, or senior leadership roles in finance, philanthropy, or development in the Global South
- Proven track record in capital mobilization, impact finance, or climate/gender initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, work across global stakeholders, and operate entrepreneurially
- Deep connections with DFIs, investors, corporates, multilaterals, and donors
- Exceptional fundraising, partnership-building, and strategic execution skills
- Visionary, entrepreneurial, and resilient mindset—able to push system-level change while operating in frontier markets
- Bachelor’s degree required
