Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Digital Designer to lead creative digital projects for a leading global media brand. In this remote role, you will craft visual narratives and collaborate with editorial, product, and tech teams in a fast-paced news environment, utilizing AI tools to elevate storytelling through design.

What You'll Do

Ensure consistent and compelling visual style aligned with brand guidelines across all digital channels.
Craft detailed prompts for AI image generation tools and refine them to achieve desired creative outcomes.
Lead creative brainstorming sessions and manage design workflows for daily stories and larger editorial packages.
Produce original artwork, illustrations, photo collages, and direct external illustrators as needed.
Design charts, infographics, and promotional assets for social media and website use.
Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, photo, video, social, product, and tech teams to optimize storytelling approaches.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in design, illustration, or a related field.
4-7 years of digital design experience.
Strong skills in graphic creation, illustration, and photo collage, capable of producing original art independently.
Expertise in editorial illustration and visual storytelling with a refined sense of composition, typography, and digital design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Experience with generative AI tools such as Google Gemini AI, Getty AI, and Adobe Firefly.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communication skills.
A portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability, design excellence, and adaptability across digital platforms.

Nice to Have

Experience in media or editorial publishing.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
