Butternut Box is looking for a Senior Digital Designer to shape our brand presence for millions of dog parents across multiple markets. This role focuses on designing high-quality email creative across the full customer lifecycle, building design systems for scale, and collaborating with CRM and marketing teams to drive engagement and conversion.
What You'll Do
- Design high-quality email creative across the full customer lifecycle: leads, existing customers, and paused customers across multiple markets.
- Create visually compelling emails that balance brand storytelling with clarity, usability, and performance.
- Work closely with CRM managers and copywriters from brief to delivery, helping shape clear creative responses aligned with campaign goals.
- Challenge the status quo by interrogating briefs, asking the right questions, and pushing for clearer objectives.
- Embed and champion Butternut’s refreshed brand across all CRM touch points as a brand guardian for email.
- Build and evolve global templates, modules, and design systems that support speed, quality, and global scale.
- Partner closely with the CRM team to take co-responsibility for email performance, acting as a commercial stakeholder for key metrics.
- Proactively suggest and design A/B tests and creative hypotheses to unlock growth and improve performance.
- Use performance insights and data to inform future creative decisions, iterating designs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and regional teams to deliver CRM creative across multiple markets.
- Take an active interest in CRM roadmaps and goals, ensuring creative work supports wider commercial priorities.
- Deliver work independently while contributing to a high-performing Creative Studio culture.
- Share knowledge, raise the bar for CRM design craft, and support junior designers.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines with a strong eye for detail.
