Join EX Squared LATAM as a Senior DevOps Engineer and become a key member of a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for building, evolving, and securing the cloud infrastructure for a sophisticated, multi-application platform. This role involves designing robust systems, supporting developer workflows, and contributing to technical decisions.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Support developers and product teams by troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues
- Enforce and promote security best practices, including least-privilege access and monitoring
- Contribute to technical decision-making, balancing business needs with technical constraints
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, and Engineering Leads to implement technical specifications
- Lead or support small teams on specific projects or initiatives when needed
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support team members’ professional growth
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Systems Engineer
- 2+ years of hands-on experience running production environments in AWS
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar)
- Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python
- Solid understanding of deployment strategies, testing frameworks, and system state management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern build systems
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in Mac or Linux environments
- Availability to collaborate synchronously during core hours (EST)
Nice to Have
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Argo CD
- Exposure to data-driven or analytics-heavy platforms
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance standards (ISO, SOC 2, etc.)
